1. Chili must be cooked on site from scratch

2. NO precooked, prepackaged or commercial ingredients will be allowed

3. All participants MUST provide their own utensils, pots, cooking devices, clean serving gloves, one ounce ladle, portable hand washing and dish washing stations at the booth. Electricity will be provided. Heavy duty 12 guage extension cords are HIGHLY recommended (no small appliance cords permissible) Coleman stoves are permissible

4. JUDGES CHOICE AND CASI AWARD: One quart per entry required. YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO ENTER BOTH! No beans, fillers, pastas are allowed for CASI entries. Chili will be judged on taste, consistency, aroma, color and bite. Chili must be traditional red varieties only. You MAY add fillers, pasta or beans to the Judge's choice entry.

5. PEOPLES CHOICE AWARD: Public Serving will be from 12 pm to 3 pm (or until Chili is gone) 3 gallons minimum recommended. You may make more to accommodate additional public tasting, at your discretion. All Chili must be served in new cups which will be sold to public at entrance to site. Cup may not be reused by customer. Public voting will take place from 12 pm to 3 pm. Results will be announced at the awards Presentation at 4 pm.
